birding all year around....

Calling All Birders! We're looking for your bird observations! Did you record a list of birds on your latest outing? The Montana Bird Distribution project is looking for bird observations from around the state. We need your observations in by the end of December for the next edition P.D. Skarr's book. Learn how to help.

Reports of bird sightings and outings are posted on the Montana Outdoor Birding Site.

June 2012: Montana Audubon's annual bird festival

Glasgow Bird Festival Montana Audubon together with the Flathead Audubon Society will hold our annual bird festival in Kalispell this year.

Hear great speakers, visit with awesome birders from around the state, and get outside. We'll have an amazing variety of field trips planned, taking advantage of the many riparian and wetland areas, forests, and birding hotspots in the surrounding areas. Pre- and post-festival field trips will once again be featured.
