Get Involved - Become a community naturalist
Volunteer community naturalists are educators, biologists, natural resource professionals, moms, dads, and grandparents.  They play an important role in mentoring youth as they explore and discover the wonders of the natural world. Community naturalists assist with on site field trips, birding tours, special events, and a variety of other school programs.

Volunteer Land Stewards
In addition to being a community conservation education center, the ACEC is an ambitious habitat restoration site. Restoring the 27-acre site from gravel mine to wildlife habitat is an essential part of the ACEC story. Every Saturday morning from 8:00 to noon and from April to October volunteers gather at the ACEC to plant trees, care for the plant nursery, irrigate new plantings, pull weeds, build trails, and more. These are fun and rewarding days that improve wildlife habitat and help build pride in the community.

Membership & Donations
The ACEC relies on donations from individuals, foundations, and corporations to support education programs, plan special events, and maintain the habitat restoration program and trails. Member contributions help support the development of education curriculum, school partnerships, and the habitat restoration program. We invite you to show your support and become an Audubon member today. Enjoy the benefits of membership in any of the categories below.
